It’s been a good day here on our little acre. Rocky went to the gym to work out while I did errands and then picked him up later……tomorrow he goes to our MD at the hometown clinic so it will be interesting to hear what he has to say. He was the first to alert us to Rocky’s cancer and it was terribly hard for him to do. He worked himself into quite an emotional state because of the respect he has for Rocky. He is young and always says Rocky is the poster boy of his geriatrics.

Rocky is real fond of him, as well, and brought him a T-Shirt from the Boston Marathon last year when we drove out to see John run. He told me he wears it on his daily 5-mile run……albeit not as great as the Boston Marathon but he says it makes him feel important. We would always like for him to feel that way, especially when he sees how good Rocky is doing.

We have already passed the date that colon cancer has claimed some…..and we’re trying to extend that as far out as we can. I’m sure he will be proud of the progress Rocky has made.

I’ll let you know what we find out tomorrow. This is more or less just checking in to see if Dr. Lew is on top of everything that’s been progressing down at the Cancer Center. We won’t be going back for more chemo until next Wednesday so Rocky is getting a break in the action for now…………
