Today was Rocky’s appointment with the specialist and after examining his tongue carefully and questioning when the surgery was and how long his tongue and throat had been sore, made an estimate. He discounted cancer almost altogether but thought it was rather an injury when the air tube was put down his throat before or during surgery. It became infected and has been a mess for two weeks. He will be on antibiotics and goes back to the doctor on June 22nd. We anticipate this will end the ordeal and are looking forward to better days ahead.
